Pune : Demonstrations were held under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ near Tilak statue in Mandai area and at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk at Pimpri for various demands when signature drive was also undertaken. On 26th May, representation in this context was submitted to Tehsildar Nanda Pardeshi by Shri. Krushna Patil, Shri. Vinayak Bagavade, activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and others.
Demonstrations were staged on 15th May for demands such as stringent action should be taken against Bhoomata Brigade’s Trupti Desai; cases should be filed against those responsible for insulting revolutionaries through text book of Delhi University; severe action should be taken against those who demolished Hindu temple in Karnataka and constructed mosque at that place.
