Take stringent action against those who have insulted revolutionaries ! – Unanimous demand of devout Hindus

Rashtriya Hindu Andolan at Pune and Pimpri (Dist. Pune) 

Pune : On 15th May, demonstrations were staged at Pune and Pimpri (Dist. Pune) under aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’. Demonstrations were held near Tilak statue in Mandai area in Pune and at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar statue Chowk at Pimpri which were attended by 70 and 50 devout Hindus respectively. Following demands were made during demonstrations,

  • Stringent action should be taken against Trupti Desai, who has been challenging old religious traditions followed by Hindus only for cheap publicity.
  • Cases of sedition should be filed against those referring revolutionaries, who sacrificed their life for freedom of this country, as terrorists.
  • Karnataka Government should take action against those constructing mosque by demolishing temple at Raichur and do justice to Hindus.

Shri. Pravin Karve of Sanatan Sanstha, Shri. Sandesh Kadam of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Shri. Mukund Chavan of Shiv Sena were present at Pune whereas at Pimpri, Kum. Ujjawala Dhavale of Sanatan Sanstha, Shri. Nagesh Joshi of HJS and Shri. Dattabhau Gavhane of Shri Shivapratishthan participated in demonstrations.

Shri. Karve of Sanatan Sanstha said that the issue of entering temple sanctum is not related to equality of men-women but it is a matter related to spiritual science. A person like Trupti Desai, who has no knowledge of spiritual science nor does she believe in existence of God, is unnecessarily staging agitations for cheap publicity and to get fame.

Shri. Sandesh Kadam said that insulting great national leaders and revolutionaries so also teaching distorted history to students was treason.

Highlights

1.Few devout Hindus came to sign representation at Pimpri and spontaneously joined demonstrations.

2. Police in uniform as well as in plain clothes were present at both the venues at Pimpri and Pune and video-recorded demonstrations.
