More than 200 local residents take advantage of the camp !
Indur : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Indian Medical Association (IMA) jointly organized health check-up camp at Manikbhandar village on 30th April. About 200 local residents took advantage of the camp. Twenty renowned doctors including IMA’s President Dr. Suresh, Urologist Dr. Raghavendra, pediatrician Dr. Gopal Singh, gynecologist Dr. Padmaja participated in the camp.
The camp was started with praying to Prabhu Shriram and breaking coconut. Various tests were conducted to check blood sugar, blood pressure and hemoglobin etc. Necessary medicines were also dispensed in the camp.
Highlights
1. Exhibition of ‘Dharma-phalaks’ was held in the premises of temple.
2. Dy. Sarpanch took active part in the camp.
3. Ten youth came forward to extend help in camp.
4. Doctors participating in the camp showed interest in holding such camps once in 15 days.
5. Local youth asked HJS for conducting Dharmashikshan classes once in fortnight.
