Demand to take stringent action against fanatics who want to join ISIS

Jalgaon : On 11th February, demonstrations were staged under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ in front of Municipal Corporation’s office; amidst slogans of ‘Stop celebration of Valentine Day, follow Indian culture’ and condemning people who are desirous of joining ISIS.

Sou. Kavita Chaudhary of ‘Shri. Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti’ said that the storm created by  Valentine Day should be calmed and it needs to be banished from this country. Let us follow Indian culture and celebrate ‘Matru-Pitru Din’.

Shri. Shreyas Pisolkar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) said, “Did the Government consult Shankaracharya or Charity Commissioner before deciding to reduce the period of ‘Amarnath yatra’ ? Patriotic citizens of this country want that instead of trying to give guidance to those who are interested in joining terrorist organization like ISIS, they should be severely punished for sedition.”

H.B.P. Ganesh shastri Maharaj, Sou. Kavita Chaudhary of Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti and another co-seeker, Shri. Kailas Thakur from ‘Gayatri Parivar’ and activists of HJS participated in the demonstrations.  

Highlights

1. Few young women, who came in contact with HJS only two days before the agitation, participated in the demonstrations till end; collected signatures from people on representation and went to district collector’s office for submitting the representation.

2. SAAM news channel held a short interview and compiled the news.
