Prevent derision of women instead of climbing temple sanctum at Shani Shingnapur : Charudatta Aphale

Press conference held on behalf of Shri Swami Chaitanya Parivar

Chiplun : Vibrations emitting from Shani can be harmful; therefore, rules are made under ‘Dharma-shastra’ for protection of women. Many scientists have also recently found that few vibrations can be harmful to human body. Spiritual perspective was not at all considered in the movement taken up at Shani Shingnapur. Customs and traditions followed there are not for doing injustice to women. Fight should be given where injustice is done to women. There is hideous exhibition of women’s body through films which is true sacrilege of women; so instead of striving for climbing temple sanctum, women should go after those who are involved in their sacrilege, stated national ‘keertankar’ Charudatta Aphale during a press conference held here.

The press conference was on behalf of Shri Swami Chaitanya Parivar that had organized series of ‘keertan’ by Charudatta Aphale. He was asked by reporters about his opinion on allowing women to go to temple sanctum at Shani Shingnapur when he expressed the above views.

Charudatta Aphale said further,

Age-old rules formulated earlier are only for protection !

Incidents of rape are increasing day by day owing to women exhibiting their bodies which is a true problem faced by women and it should be addressed instead of taking up such non -consequential issues. We should study Dharma-shastra and achieve spiritual progress by abiding by Dharma. Men and women are made different by nature. There are many things which Government follows as preventive measures. Do we consider that as inequality ? Rules formulated earlier for religious matters are actually made for protection.

Every citizen should be given military training like Israel

People will be able to face any kind of terrorism if every citizen is given military training as is done in Israel.

Madrassas should not spread hatred !

It is condemnable if madrassas and any other religious places are spreading hatred towards other religions.
