HJS submits reprt. to Shankaracharya against conversion

Mumbai: Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) members called on Shankaracharya Shri. Jayendra Saraswati of Kanchi Kamkoti Peetha at Nerul and explained to him in detail about its activities as also sought his blessings for its mission of protection of Dharma. Shri. Shivaji Vatkar, district coordinator of HJS for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad told him in detail about the conversion of Hindus taking place in large number and submitted a representation to him in this regard. Shri. Vatkar also gave him a copy of issue of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ publishing news about killing of Maunibaba alias Ramcharandas at Puri. Swamiji’s attention was also drawn to an article about the ploy against Indian community. Shri. Vatkar informed Swamiji about the propagation of Dharma and various drives undertaken by HJS through its website.

Jagatguru Shankaracharya Shri. Jayendra Saraswati said, "There is good response to the VCDs telecast on ‘Dharma-shikshan’ prepared by Sanatan on "Sree Sankara" channel, in Southern part of India. The programs should be shown even in other languages by motivating local cable operators in Mumbai and other States." Shankaracharya praised the file prepared on ‘Dharma-shikshan’ boards, in colour and he kept a copy for him. He said that such file on Dharma-shikshan can be telecast in other languages in South. There is a need for all Sects and Hindu Organizations to unite." 

Shankaracharya offers His blessings for ‘Hindu Dharma-jagruti Sabha’ to be held in USA

After organizing ‘Hindu Dharma-jagruti Sabha’ in various parts of India, now HJS will be holding such sabha in Virginia, USA on 8th July 2009. When Swamiji was informed about the meeting, he extended his blessings for the same and gave contact numbers of His devotees in USA to HJS members. He said, "My blessings are with HJS and I will extend all support to its activities." He also agreed to pay a visit to Sanatan’s ashram at Devad (Panvel).
