Nashik: Heartening response to FACT exhibition on terrorism

Khedale (Dist. Nashik): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had organized photo-exhibition devised by FACT depicting information on extreme atrocities inflicted by terrorists on Hindus from Kashmir and Bangladesh. The exhibition was held at Khedale in Niphad taluka and was open to public from 9.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. The exhibition was inaugurated by HBP. Jagannath Ghotikar. Response to the exhibition was heartening.

S/Shri. Shankar Gite, ‘Up-sarpanch’, Somnath Vakchaure, Rameshwar Lokare, Shriram Chitale, Ganesh Ghagote, Vitthal Ghetekar were present with other devout Hindus. VCD which brings to light the oppression of Kashmiri and Bangla Deshi Hindus was also shown to the ‘jidnyasus/ curious’ to create more awareness on the topic.

Shri. Mukund Babanrao Avhad, Dhadi Sarole: Henceforth, I shall take part in this campaign of HJS. The campaign will start from my home and will be spread to the village and taluka level later.

A soldier: I take salary for serving the nation; but whatever you are doing for unity of Hindus is indeed inspirational and unparalleled. 

Highlights

  • ·A Hindu youth had come to see the exhibition wearing a ‘Cross’. When members of HJS saw him, they explained to him why it was wrong for him to do so. He immediately removed the cross, apologized and assured that he would not wear it in future.
  • HJs members were extended very good assistance by the local residents
