Hindu unity: HJS’ meetings with Sindhi community

Pimpri (Dist. Pune, Maharashtra): Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had organized meetings at various places with distinguished personalities from Sindhi community with an aim of uniting different factions of Hindus to fight against attacks on Hindu Dharma. The meetings evoked good response from Sindhi businessmen so also from those associated with religious and social fields from that community. Ms. Anu Parsram spoke in the meeting about present condition of Hindus, attacks on Dharma taking place in different manner and activities undertaken by HJS to bring about change in the situation.

With the cooperation of Smt. Mulani, executive director of Sewa Vikas Bank more than 50 staff members from the bank and with the help from Shri. Rajubhai and Shri. Deepak Kukreja of Yoga Vedant Samiti, more than 150 of their seekers from satsang, participated in the meeting; besides, in a meeting organized by Shri. Suresh Nebhovani and Shri. Haresh Bhagia, Ms Anu Parsram had discussions on the topic of ‘Hindu Unity’. HJS was requested to present the topic in the weekly satsangs held by Yoga Vedant Samiti, in addition to this, the organizers showed interest in holding FACT exhibition. Some of the participants also showed interest in compiling information on oppression of Sindhi community for the benefit of future generations.

Sindhi community is in minority and has suffered the most during post-independence and partition of this country. Lack of knowledge about Dharma is attracting Sindhis towards conversion. Even the educated class is falling prey to conversions. The above information was given by Smt. Mulani, the executive director of Sewa Vikas Bank.
