Sangavi (Maharashtra): A representation was given by the devout Hindus attending ‘Dharma-shikshan’ classes conducted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti to the owners of ‘Makhan’ hospital here for removing the tiles fitted in their hospital with pictures of deities. (Devout Hindus should express gratitude at the feet of God – Editor).

Dharma-jagruti Sabha was held at Sangavi on 1st February and ‘Dharma-shikshan’ classes were started as a follow up of the ‘Sabha’. The participants of the class were explained about denigration of deities taking place in various manners. They realized that using tiles with pictures of deities also cause denigration of deities. They found such tiles in local Makhan Hospital. They immediately took action and went with a representation to Shri. Makhan, the owner of the hospital, with a request to change such tiles. He promised them to change the tiles within a week. He also told them that the written representation was not necessary and he would have agreed even if he was given verbal demand. S/Shri. Milind Dharmadhikari, Amol Kale, Sarang Divekar, Pravin Bhokare, Pravin Dalal, Pankaj, Suyog Sondur, Miss Rashmi Ekhe and Miss Priyanka Lone were present on the occasion.
