Magh Krushna Dashmi

Dahibav (Maharashtra): Responding to the call by Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) 2000 proud Hindus in and around Dahibav got united at the Dharmajagruti Sabha. In the presence of H.H. Sawant Maharaj and Haribhaktaparayan Redij Maharaj they took an oath of protecting Dharma in front of Sri Mahadeshwar. In spite of the difficult terrain, the spontaneous response by Hindus at the Sabha shows that if Hindus are aware of the Dharma in danger and get united then opponents of Dharma would get into trouble.

The Sabha organized on the ground near the temple of Sri. Mahadeshwar, the Gramdevata of Dahibav began with blowing a conch shell. Thereafter Ved Mantras were recited by priests Shri. Trivikram Abhyankar of Naringre and Shri. Uday Bapat from Dabhole. Sabha started after the auspicious lamp was lit at the hands of Saint H.H. Sawant Maharaj and Haribhaktaparayan Vasant Redij Maharaj from Vengurla. Shri. Jayesh Thali of HJS, Shri. Vinay Panvalkar of Dharmashakti Sena and Shri. Madan Sawant of Sanatan Sanstha were on the dais. Later all the speakers and invited dignitaries were welcomed. Shri. Sanjay Joshi, the representative of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ a periodical striving for protecting the Nation and creating awareness about Dharma among Hindus, was felicitated. Shri. Joshi expressed his intent behind the service that is rendered by him. Shri. Manoj Khadye gave information regarding the mission of HJS. Thereafter the speakers kindled the radiance among the Hindus by their thought provoking speeches.

The population of Dahibav and surrounding villages is 20 thousand; besides it is a very difficult terrain. Still attendance of more than 2000 Hindus shows the trust and hope being developed in the mind of people regarding HJS.
