Hindus resolve to unite in the ‘Snehhmilan Ceremony’

Pimprala, (Maharashtra): Celebrating Religious Festivals together is a powerful medium for Hindus’unity. As Pune is known for its cultural heritage let us make Jalgao the land of Kshatraveer, proposed Shri. Uday Badgujar of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) and Hindus present there also responded to it spontaneously declaring their resolve to do so. 350 curious (jidnyasu) Hindus were present for the ‘Snehmilan Ceremony’ organized on the occasion of Makar Sankranti Festival.

The importance of Snehmilan was explained by Shri. Uday Badgujar, Shri. Prashnt Juvekar created awreness among the people regarding following Dharma. He also invited the gathering to oppose the ‘Valentine Day’. Compering was done by Kum. Trupti Kulkarni.

Highlights   

  • Women attending the ‘Dharmasatsang’ invited the people going from house to house.
  • Pamphlets opposing the ‘Valentine Day’ were distributed in the town.
    Small girls also had come wearing sarees to the function having known about the spiritual reason behind wearing a saree when the importance of Hindu culture was explained to them in ‘Dharmasatsang’. 
  • Demand was made to start a class of Dhramashikshan.
