Nagpur (Maharashtra): The agitation against the Government for misleading the students publishing distorted History, is quite justified. Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare blessed the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) saying, “Follow the advice of Bhagvan Srikrushna who said, ‘Fulfil your Mission without expectation’ and keep going”, at Nagpur. A show ‘Janata Raja’ based on the biography of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was staged at Nagpur recently; hence some deligates of HJS and Sanatan Sastha had met him at ‘Smruti Mandir’, Reshambag. He had blessed them that time uttering the above words.

The matter published by N.C.E.R.T in the History books regarding Chhatrapti Shivaji Maharaj is very negligible; whereas they have published matter praising the Mogals in many pages. Hence HJS has raised an objection to it and has forwarded a pamphlet with a warning to the Government. When the said pamphlet was shown to Shivshahir Purandare during their meeting, he said, “Whatever you have mentioned in the said pamphlet is correct; I am also giving you some evidences”. The said pamphlet was distributed among the audience present for the show, ‘Janata Raja’.
