Amaravati : On 23rd August, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and like-minded Hindu organizations staged demonstrations at ‘Rajkamal Chowk’ under aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’. Demands were made through the demonstrations to cancel ‘Shaan-e-Pakistan’ program proposed to be held at Delhi from 10th to 12th September 2015 and to remove lavatory on Manikarnika Kund, which is an integral part of Shri. Mahalakshmi Mandir, Kolhapur and open the Kund for devotees. Large number of Hindutvavadis were present on the occasion and raised slogans for these demands. Shri. Girish Komerwar of Sanatan Sanstha said that organizing programs like ‘Shaan-e-Pakistan’ was treason. Shri. Manav Buddhadev of ‘Yog Vedant Samiti’ said that the Government should take immediate measures for banning programs of Pakistan.

 Highlights

  1. When demonstrators were addressed by HJS, suddenly, lot of crowd gathered and listened to what was said. Few rickshaw-drivers were also listening to the speech.
  2. Many journalists attended the demonstrations to cover the news.
