Lecture on Dharmashikshan held at Kodungalloor, Trissur

Kerala : A pravachan (lecture) was held by activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Mayooreshwarapuram Shree Subramanyaswami Temple at Kodungalloor, Kerala. About 15 people participated in the pravachan. Kum. Praneeta Sukhtankar spoke on the topic ‘Importance of Dharmacharan (abiding by Dharma)’. She spoke about the correct method of taking darshan in temple and the science behind it. While explaining the topic she said that, temples are sources of chaitanya and hence to obtain maximum benefit from it we must take darshan of the Deity in the correct manner. The pravachan was held as a part of ‘Shasti rituals’ held in the temple.

Highlights

1. Most of the attendees were women and were very attentive.
2. Some of them asked questions and got their doubts cleared.
3. The authorities said that they would arrange similar lectures in the future.
