Telangana Govt. should cancel hike in bus-fare for Godavari Pushkar pilgrimage !

Kolhapur : ‘Pushkar’ pilgrimage is held once in every 12 years and this year, it will be held during 14th to 25th July 2015. Telangana Government announced plying of additional 530 buses on the route, for convenience of devotees; but it has also hiked the bus-fare by 50%. This decision is a deliberate attempt to put curb on Hindus’ pilgrimages and quite infuriating; therefore, Telangana Government should cancel such hike, demanded Shri. Rajan Bunage of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) while speaking during demonstrations staged under the aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’, near Chhatrapati Shivaji’s statue on 12th July.

Shri. Babasaheb Bhopale, Shri. Madhukar Nazare of HJS, Sou. Anita Bunage of its ‘Ranaragini’ Division also expressed their views on the occasion. More than 35 devout Hindus, including Shri. Kishore Ghatage, Shri. Kapil Kesarkar of Shiv Sena, Shri. Chandrakant Barale, District President of ‘Hindu Ekata Andolan’, Shri. Shivajirao Sase, Sou. Surekha Kakade of ‘Ranaragini’ Division participated in the demonstrations.
