‘Important works related to Simhastha Parva should be promptly completed on war-footing’

Sangli (Maharashtra) : ‘Simhastha Parva’ will be soon started at Nashik but important works are still not completed; therefore, necessary funds should be provided and all work should be completed on war-footing, was the demand made by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) through a representation submitted on 7th July.

The representation addressed to the Prime Minister was accepted by Shri. Sanjay Shinde, the Dy. District Collector. Shri. Avinash Sawant, Division Chief of Shri Shiva-pratishthan, Shri. Shrikrushna Mali, Shiv Sena’s Shri. Anand Rajput Shri. Dattatreya Retharekar of HJS and Shri. Santosh Desai were present on the occasion.

Other demands made on the occasion –

1. Film Censor Board should not issue certification of release to anti-Hindu film ‘Mohalla Assi’ and the Government should file cases against the concerned persons.

2. False history about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj should be removed from the text book under curriculum of Telangana State; taking stringent action against the concerned persons.

3. Abuse of national flags through medium of plastic should be stopped and as per High Court’s order, a committee should be set up for further necessary action.
