Good response to vehicle rally for Dharmasabha in Pune

Pune: The vehicle rally arranged for Dharmajagruti Sabha in Anandnagar in Pune drew excellent response from the ardent Hindu citizens today. The saffron flags, Keshari sandalwood paste drawn on the forehead and the slogans about Sanatan Hindu dharma were the main features of the rally. Hindu Janjagruti Samiti has organised Dharmajagruti Sabha at 6 p.m. on Sunday, 11th May on the ground opposite Indian Hume Pipe Co. on Sinhagad road.  The vehicle rally was taken out as a prelude to the Sabha. Sixty-five vehicles participated in the rally.

The rally started at 6.15 p.m. from Vitthal Mandir in Vithhalvadi. At the outset, H.B.P. Sham Maharaj Rathod, secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Varkari Sangha worshipped the Dharma flag. Shri.. Harishchandra alias Anna Dangad Patil, nagarsevak garlanded the flag. Present on the occasion were Shri. Girish Dhumal, city-spokesperson of the Samiti; Shri. Mahendra Ahire and Shri. Shambhu Gaware, district-sevak of Sanatan Sanstha etc. The rally began with slogans, ‘Hail Sanatan Dharma!’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ etc. The rally wound its way through the areas of Vitthalmandir, Rammandir, Hingane, Santosh Hall, Shivpushpa Park Chowk, Vadgaon, Dhayari by-pass and concluded in Bhairoba Mandir.
