First Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held at Kanyakumari district

Inauguration of the Sabha

 

On 9.4.15, HJS conducted Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha in Thikanangkodu village, Kanyakumari district. This was the first time a Dharmajagruti sabha was being conducted in Kanyakumari District. The Sabha took place in the Dharma Sanstha temple hall, Thikanangkodu. The temple trustee Shri. Thyagarajan made arrangements for the Dharma Sabha. Though it is a village around 60 people attended the program. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti volunteers distributed pamphlets during the temple festival along with door to door campaigns. The local radio channel also popularized the Sabha. 

The Sabha was inaugurated by Shri. Radhakrishnan of Shivsena, Shri. Balakrishnan of Yogi Ramsurath kumar Ashram, Shri. Pazha Santosh Kumar of Hindu Ilaiynar Ezhuchi peravai and Sou. Ragini Premnath of HJS.

Bring back at least one converted Hindu to his mother culture ! – Shri. Radhakrishnan

Shri. Radhakrishnan expressed gratitude to H. H. Dr Athavale and then spoke about the richness of Hindu culture. He observed how foreigners are eagerly following our culture. He explained the status of Hindus who are treated badly after they convert. He also gave solutions like we have to educate our children about the greatness of our culture, enrol them in Hindu schools, celebrate festivals with Hindu families. He said that everyone should do some spiritual service in their locality and each one should make it a point to bring back at least one converted Hindu back to his mother religion.

Every missionary has to convert one person to Christianity to reach heaven ! – Shri. Balakrishnan

Shri. Balakrishnan spoke about how conversion started and what were the reasons. He said that according to the missionaries if the person does not pray it is fine, if he does not go to church also it is fine but he has to convert at least one person to Christianity to reach heaven. He said that cheats will always be there we should only be alert not to get cheated.

Mothers should inculcate pride for Hindu Dharma in children – Shri. Pazha Santosh Kumar

Shri. Pazha Santosh Kumar emphasised about the importance of youth taking part in establishing the Hindu Rashtra. He said we should be proud to be born in such a great Dharma. Hence it is the duty of all women to inculcate the richness of our Dharma in their children. He said that Christians and Muslims are safer in our country than in any other country because it is Hindu nation.

Hindu Rashtra is the solution to all problems ! – Sou. Ragini Premnath

Sou. Ragini Premnath spoke about the aim and benefits of Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha. She explained the present pathetic situation of our country and how even a proHindu party in power too cannot change the situation. She also talked about how Hindu Dharma is being attacked from all sides. She told the importance of Hindu Rashtra which is the only solution for all the problems and how everyone can take part in it.

Resolutions were read and all Dharmabhimanis acknowledged with slogans and signature. Gratitude was expressed to God and other dharmabhimanis who helped in arranging the program. Vande matharam was played at the end. 

Highlights of the program

  • Shri. C. Thyagarajan did all the arrangements, pick up and drop of HJS volunteers to station, food and staying arrangements with lot of bhav. 
  • Dharmabhimani Shri. Balakrishnan was very much impressed by HJS. He is participating in HJS activities for the first time. Still he took so much interest that he volunteered to distribute 300 Dharmajagruti Sabha pamphlets.
  • Women formed a large part of the audience
