Devrukh (Maharashtra): The Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held in Devrukh on April 18, 2008, a hamlet at the foot of Sahyadri mountains was a resounding success. It was in the valleys of Sahyadri that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Chharapati Sambhajiraje had brought the Mughals to their knees. The ardent Hindus resolved in the Sabha to repeat history and give a befitting reply to the heretics and anti-Hindu elements who are out to cause damage to Hindu dharma.

Laws that jeopardize Hindu interests must be prevented – Shri Jayant Desai

Addressing the Sabha, Shri. Jayant Desai of VHP said, "Our Hindu dharma is ancient. The impressions of religious scriptures on our mind can never be wiped out. After independence, no one has done anything for the Hindus. The government is run on the whims and fancies of the minorities. The laws like temple takeover law that jeopardize Hindu interests must be prevented. We need the assistance of the rulers to strengthen our dharma."

Non-observance of religion responsible for present sordid state of the country – Dr. Narenda Date

“The fact that the Hindus have deviated from following dharma in day-to-day life is mainly responsible for the present sordid condition of the society and the country. To change the situation, the Hindus should understand the importance of Vyashati and Samashti spiritual practice and do the sadhana accordingly,” said Dr. Narendra Date of Sanatan Sanstha. He added, “If we consider why our ancestors were happy, we will understand that they were following the religion with faith. The festivals and holy festivals were observed on the dates as per Hindu calendar. This was so because on that date the principle of the particular Deity descends on the earth on a larger scale which in turn helps the devotees spiritually. Sanatan Sanstha is imparting guidance through satsangs at various places about spiritual practice.”

Dharmashakti Sena is for protection of dharma not a person ! – Vinay Panvalkar

The Dharma protects the nation, the nation protects the society, the society protects a common man; but
Dharmashakti Sena attaches importance to the protection of dharma rather than a person. In spite of all around onslaughts on the dharma, the Hindu is engrossed in pleasures and entertainment. The society which is not ready to fight is worth to be destroyed. Dharmashakti is very much necessary for save the nation from odds and adversities.”
