Encouraging response to meeting held for Dharmasabha

Mumbai: Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has organized a ‘Dharmajagruti Sabha’ on 30th March. Recently a meeting was held in this connection to decide about preparations to be undertaken for the ‘sabha’. The meeting was attended by 65 devout Hindus.

In the beginning, a VCD on ‘Present condition of Hindus’ was shown, followed by Shri. Satish Kocharekar, a member of HJS enlightening people about the objective behind establishment of HJS citing examples of different attacks on Hindu Dharma and activities undertaken by HJS to fight against such attacks. Shri. Kashinath Parab informed about the planning for holding the ‘sabha’. Shri. Shivaji Vatkar, the Mumbai district coordinator of HJS explained the need for holding such ‘sabhas’ and its purpose in detail. He also explained about how the activities of HJS are different from activities of political parties and cited examples of earlier such ‘sabhas’, responses received to the sabhas in favour as also against such ‘sabhas’.

Shri. Baburao Patil, former municipal councilor and the director on the board of Jijamata School, Bhandup attended this meeting. He offered to help in organizing the ‘sabha’ in every possible manner. Regarding the present condition of Dharma, Shri. Patil said, Hindus must come together. We need to prepare our youth so that they come forward to help us in emergencies like youth from other religions do. We must forget caste and creed and unite which is the main aim of holding Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabhas.

The meeting was also attended by Pujya Gavas Maharaj of Warakari Sampradaya, Shri. Sudhir Sharma from RSS, Shri. Dharmadhikari of Gagangiri Sampradaya, Shri. Talashilkar, a businessman from Kanjur Marg and Shri. Jayasingh Ravat from Powai, besides members of Sanatan Sanstha and HJS.
