HJS to hold Demonstrations against Vastraharan despite threats

On 10th May 06, demonstrations were held against the Marathi play ‘Vastra-haran’ outside Shivaji Park. That time, the manager of the play threatened the members of HJS that they would be burnt alive if the demonstrations were not called off immediately. A complaint was registered against the manager at Shivai Park police station by HJS members. HJS had also sent its complaint to the Police Commissioner, The Upper Police Ayukta, State Cultural Minister and Review Committee for plays. In view of the above, on May 27, 2006, between 7.30 p.m and 8.30 p.m., demonstrations will be held at Damodar Hall. HJS members have resolved that irrespective of any kind of threats received by them, they will go on with the demonstrations.
