HJS submits representation against crackers with deities’ pictures!

Junnar (Maharashtra): On behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), a representation was submitted to the Tehsildar and senior police officers, demanding a ban on sale of crackers with pictures of deities and great national leaders.

Shri. M.P. Kajale, municipal councilor of Shiv Sena, Shri. Sunil Meher, ex-chief of Pune district, Shiv Sena, Shri. Ramesh dada Khatri of RSS, Shri. Ramesh Karpe of VHP, Dr. Karnavat of BJP and members of HJS and Sanatan Sanstha were present on the occasion. HJS members apprised Shri. Sanjay Teli, the Tehsildar in brief about its activities who then praised HJS and assured that he would immediately issue an order to all sellers of firecrackers that they should take out the stock of crackers with deities pictures aside and not sell the same.
