Mumbai (Maharashtra): If we have to cite specialty about India, in brief, it is ‘Guru-Shishya (disciple)’ lineage. ‘Shuddha Pournima’ in the month of ‘Ashadha’ as per Hindu calendar is ‘Guru-Pournima’. This is the day on which one expresses gratitude towards one’s Guru. On behalf of Sanatan Sanstha and ‘Dharmajagruti Prabodhini’, functions have been organized to celebrate Guru-Pournima at 193 places, 178 places in India and 15 places outside India. Out of these, 8 such functions will be held in Mumbai and 2 in Thane. The above information was released by Shri. Ramesh Shinde, a seeker of Sanatan Sanstha and spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in a press conference held on behalf of Sanatan Sanstha.
Shri. Rajan Shinde, the district-sevak of Sanatan Sanstha for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad districts and Mrs. Sunita Patil, the coordinator of Sanatan Sanstha for Mumbai also attended the press conference held at ‘Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh’. Shri. Prashant Kulkarni, Sanatan’s Thane district coordinator was present for the press conference held at hall of Pitambari group industries in Thane.
Terrorists are on rampage all through out the country. Hindus are being oppressed. In this background, a photo-exhibition will also be held at the Guru-Pournima venues in association with the organization called ‘FACT’ on atrocities on Hindus in Kashmir and Bangla Desh. Unity of Hindus is the need of the hour.

In these functions, Sree Vyas-pujan and Guru-pujan (puja of photograph of H. H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj, the Inspiration behind Sanatan Sanstha) will be performed at 3.00 p.m. followed with discourses on ‘Sadhana (spiritual practice)’ and ‘Dharma-jagruti ’. There will also be a guidance lecture on ‘Hindu Unity’ by leaders of Hindu organizations, informed Shri. Shinde. He has appealed to all Hindus to participate in the functions along with their family members.
Press conference at Mumbai was attended by correspondents from news groups like Dainik Ratnagiri Times, Dainik Punyanagari, Dainik Samna, Dainik Sagar, Dainik Lokmat, Dainik Amrut-kalash, Hindustan Samachar, Dainik Mumbai Mitra etc. and representatives of various TV channels. At the Press Conference in Thane, Dainik Janamudra, Janamat, Vrutta-maanas, Mumbai Lakshdweep, Mumbai Mitra, Ratnagiri Times, Free Press Journal, Navashakti etc. were present.
Many journalists appreciated the mission of Sanatan Sanstha’ Hindu Janajagruti Samiti to create awareness among Hindus towards their Dharma and nation and they felt that such drive should also be taken to schools.
