Alert Hindu’s effort to stop denigration

By Staff Reporter

Shri Mahesh Pathak, a proud Hindu received a mail wherein Hindus are using Sadhu for joke and ridiculing him. He immediately replied explaining how it was not correct to do such a thing.

(See communications below*)

(Congratulations to Shri Mahesh for alertness in noticing the denigration and promptly explaining. Hindus must realize that such small efforts go a long way in stopping denigration. Swami Vivekananda has said,’that our social defect is not that we do not do something great, but we do not do things within our means’. If every Hindu does this then no one would dare to ridicule Hindus and Hindu Dharma – Editor)

Hi XXX,

I saw your mail and became nervous. One thing I have to mention here, do not use your god, Sadhu for making jokes. Have you seen before some one using Maulah or Pope instead of Sadhu. They do not dare to use these terms in jokes.

They have pride for their religion. So we also must be proud of our Hindu religion.

Thanks and regards
Mahesh Pathak
