Insolent Muslim denigrates Shivaji Maharaj & Samarth Ramdas

Miraj: Malik Bashir Momin was arrested for denigrating the pictures of Samarth Ramdas Swami and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the banners by pelting stones at them.

Rohidas Tarun Mandal had displayed oil-paintings of Samartha Ramdas Swami and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the occasion of Shiva-jayanti. In the midnight of 9 th May 2007, Malik Momin stoned the pictures resulting in pictures getting torn. The enraged members of the Rohidas Mandal caught hold of the culprit, beat him up and handed him over to the police. . The culprit was being taken by two police constables on motor cycle when he tried to run away; but the police found him later.

Shiv Sena and Bajarang Dal members took out a march to the police station and demanded strict action against Momin. They also demanded Momin to be disgracefully marched through the streets of Miraj else a ‘bandh’ would be called. Shiv Sena has appealed to all advocates that they should not fight Momin’s case and asked police to provide security for the statue of Chhatarpati Shivaji Maharaj in town.

(Congratulations to the members of Rohidas Mandal for handing over anti-Hindu to police. Congratulations to members of Shiv Sena for becoming aggressive and demand strict action against the Muslim – Editor)
