Over 200 devout Hindus attend the Sabha

Chinchwad, Pune – Former Deputy Mayor of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, Mr Sachin Chinchawade, along with members of the Swami Vivekanand Society (Walhekar Wadi, Pune), actively and enthusiastically participated in the organisation and outreach of the ‘Hindu Rashtra-Jagruti Sabha’ held here. The Sabha organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti witnessed the participation of more than 200 devout Hindus. A large number of youth attended the Sabha and listened attentively to the proceedings.

Addressing the gathering, Mr Nagesh Joshi of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti guided the attendees on issues concerning Hindu society. He stated that Hindus today are being compelled to struggle for their places of worship. Referring to Mathura, Kashi, Sambhal, and the Saraswati Devi temple at Bhojshala, he emphasised that these are ongoing matters of concern. He noted that Hindus had to wait 500 years for the hoisting of the flag atop the Shri Ram Temple. He further noted that the Waqf Board has laid claim to lakhs of acres of land, while Hindu temples are being brought under government control; also, Hindu religious processions are facing repeated attacks.
The Sabha was compered by Mr Chinmay Joshi from the Dharmashikshan wing.
