Guidance by Sanatan Sanstha and HJS in various districts on Women’s Day

Guidance given by Sanatan Sanstha and HJS in various districts on the occasion of Women’s Day got tremendous response. Many persons expressed that they have understood the importance of abiding by Dharma and sadhana (Spiritual practice)

Kolhapur

Kasba Sangav : Dr. Shilpa Kothavale spoke to the gathering at Kasba Sangav. 200 were present there.

Shiroli : Guidance was given by Dr. Shilpa Kothavale. Self-defence demonstrations too were done then. This programme was organisd by Shiroli Grampanchayat and Sou. Rupali Anil Khavre, ex Shivsena Grampanchayat-member here attending the Dharmashikshan class of HJS, Shri. Shshikant Khavre, Sarpanch, Gramvikas officer Shri. A. S. Katare, Vic-president of Women Child-welfare Committee, Sou. Urmila Jadhav along with members of the Grampanchayat , school girls, in all 570 people were present on this occasion.

After the programme, Sou. Urmila Jadhav said, “There is an absolute need of self-defence for women and young girls and we will organise such a programme very soon.” All appeared to be very satisfied with this endeavour as they expressed it with applauds.

Unique

Grampanchayat distributed 500 Sanatan produced Kumkum boxes to women and girls. (Congratulations to Sou. Rupali Khavre and Shiroli Grampanchayat for trying to organise programme of Dharmashikshan and training in self-defence for women-girls. Such programmes can also be organised at other places taking this as an ideal.

Nave-Pargaon : 125 students, teachers and employees of Tatyasaheb Kore Dental College ad Research Centre were present for the guidance given by Dr. Shilpa Kothavale.

Shimnakwadi (Ichalkarnji) : Sou. Savita Jadhav of Sanatan Sanstha gave a lecture on, ‘Sadhana for blissful life’ in the programme organised on behalf of Grampanchayat here.

Sangli

Leader of the Rashtrawadi Congress and ex Speaker Sou. Jaymala Deshmukh had organised the programmes in Dighanchi and Karagani. More than 350 ladies attended.

Sou. Sunita Dixit of Ranaragini expressed that, to make ladies capable at physical, mental and spiritual levels self-defence training is essential.

Highlights

  1. Teachers too were present there. They took down Sou. Dixit’s contact no. and requested her to speak on the said topic in their school.
  2. The organisers of the programme assured saying, ‘We will have your programmes in future too’.
  3. All women present there expressed their pleasure in attending it.
  4. One of them said, “If I were not to receive a phone call about this programme, I would have deprived of such a valuable knowledge.”

Mumbai

Women will be safe by abiding by Dharma ! – Sou. Prajakta Savant, Ranaragini, Mumbai

Mulund (Mumbai) : Looking to the spreading corruption, increasing atrocities on women, it is the need of the hour that women should be able to defend themselves and for that training in self-defence is essential. Women should keep the ideal of Rajmata Jijau, Rani Laxmibai, Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar etc. and abide by Dharma (Dharmacharan), said Sou. Prajakta Savant, Ranaragini wing, HJS. She was addressing the gathering organised by Shri. Prakash Gangadhare, Nagarsevak from Mulund. Her topic was ‘Sadhana and Dharmacharan’. She told them that by chanting Deity’s Name and Dharmacharan we get help from God. 150 women were present there. Sou. Asha Gangadhare guided on ‘First Aid : Need of the hour’.

Karnataka State

Mankapur (Karnataka) : Sou. Anjali Kotgi of Sanatan Sanstha spoke to the mother-parents in Marathi school. 117 mother-parents, 300 students of 6th to 8th std. Sou. Jayashri Pujari, ex President of S.D.M.C. also spoke on the occasion. All acclaimed Sanatan sanstha’s mission and confessed that parents were guided appropriately. The Headmaster of the school Shri. M.R. Kambale acclaimed the work of the Sanstha. He also said that it was a selfless service and to create an ideal generation such a guidance is necessary. Sanatan’s Holy texts were exhibited there.
Nipani – Sou. Vijaya Mangalurkar spoke on ‘Woman and her position in family’ at Jijamata Mandal. After the guidance ladies present there expressed their desire to wear 9-yard saree.
