Why can’t powerful pro-Hindu organizations do what Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) is able to do ?

Hindus should offer gratitude at God’s feet for this success !

Mumbai : An article written by A. Jaijeet titled ‘Narad Muninchya Zadu ne Deva-lokat Khalabal (Narad Muni’s broom creates sensation in Deva-lok)’ which ridiculed Hindu Deities, was removed from the website of Marathi newspaper ‘Divya Marathi’. In ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’, news about such mockery was published. Shri. Shivaji Vatkar of HJS had sent a protest letter to ‘Divya Marathi’ demanding that the article had insulted Hindus’ Deities; therefore, it should be immediately removed and apology should be rendered to all Hindus.’

Accordingly, the article has been removed. In this article, Narad Muni was shown in the form of Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejariwal with cymbals in one hand and broom in another. ‘Devarshi Narad is a son of Lord Brahma and staunch devotee. Many could acquire God’s grace because of Narad Muni’s ‘satsang’. Devarshi Narad is, therefore, revered by all Hindus; but owing to the said ridiculing article and the dialogues in that article have resulted in insult of Hindus’ Deities. Many Hindus have advised their strong feelings to us. It is essential to be aware of sentiments of people while being in the profession of journalism. It is observed that the author seems to have forgotten this principle. Will he use objects of worship of Muslims or Christians in this manner?’, was the question raised by HJS in its protest letter. A drive was also undertaken by HJS on its website.

Shri. Ashok Kulkarni, district – coordinator of HJS for Sambhajinagar met the Editor of ‘Divya Marathi’ to register protest. The article was removed from website on receiving HJS letter and verbal apology was also rendered. Shri. Shivaji Vatkar had followed up the matter with Editor for giving reply to protest letter of HJS and for rendering apology to Hindus.
