In yet another embarrassment for UP’s Samajwadi Party Government, which is already battered by the charges of encouraging criminal elements in the State, a minor girl abducted over a month ago has been reportedly recovered from the residence of a ruling party MLA Hariom Yadav. The MLA is said to be a relative of party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
The girl, a resident of Bah city under Agra district was abducted from KK Nagar area of Sikandra. According to reports, the girl after her recovery said that she was kept at the residence of SP MLA Hariom Yadav but later she was forced to change her statement, saying the MLA has nothing to do with her abduction.
However, the victim’s uncle Srikrishna has claims that she was recovered by police from Yadav’s residence in Shikohabad.
Yadav represents Sirsaganj seat of Firozabad in the State Assembly.
