Nagpur: In the Vidarbha district of Maharashtra conversions by Christian missionaries are going on in full swing. Girls, some of who are Hindu as appearing from the names are being trained systematically to carry out the task of preaching, in a church at Nagpur. This startling news was given by one such preacher. Presently very active in converting people to Christianity at Bhandara in Lakhandur taluka, this lady has covered the entire area. In fact in Vidarbha more than 3000 villages are in the network of the Christian missionaries.
Bhandara district is certainly not lagging behind in conversions like other districts of Vidarbha. A journalist procured this information from a lady preacher pretending that he was interested in getting converted and the preacher named Tina let the cat out of the bag. These girls who have left home in search of a job are first trained in the Nagpur `Believers’ church for 2 months. They are taught tricks to deceive people into getting converted. In fact they are even prepared to sacrifice their lives for spreading Jesus’ message and are then sent to different districts with a monthly salary of 2500 rupees.
The chief center of these missionaries is situated at Vadsa in Gadchiroli district and all preachers have a weekly meeting here. The one and only task of these preachers is to convert people to Christianity. This is their modus operandi. Preachers first gather data on the economic status of the population and manage to collect information which even the government does not have. Then tapping the weakness of the person they provide him with money or medicines as per the need and drag him into their network. These preachers have managed to spread their tentacles even to schools and colleges and lure young boys into their trap. Once converted, they conduct Sunday mass for these converts. These prayer services are held at every centre of theirs. At Lakhandur 20-25 people attend this prayer service.

Since Hindus are ignorant about Hindu Dharma, they are prepared to give it up to get even a square meal! To change this situation we need to educate ourselves on Hinduism and propagate it to others as well. How many of us are trained to preach our religious precepts like the Christian missionaries impart training? The supreme cultures in the world, Hindus today are being reduced to a minority. Yet it is depressing that we Hindus feel nothing about all this. We all know how Christian missionaries are secretly plotting to forcibly convert poor and helpless Hindus by luring them in different ways. All this a consequence of the government’s unwillingness to implement the anti-conversion act; this hesitation is favourable to the missionaries. Awaken Hindus! And strive to destroy these devious designs of the Christian missionaries.
