Leftists oppose spread of Hinduism in Hindu temples

Kunnur: A book exhibition was organized on the occasion of Kadalai Sree Krushna Devasthan festival by RSS and Sanatan Sanstha; but owing to the commotion created by DYFI, the youth wing of Communist Party, a ban was imposed on the exhibition and spread of spirituality.

On 30th January, local DYFI workers entered the temple and put up their flags and banners near the book exhibition to which members of RSS took objection. The temple authorities asked DYFI workers to remover their banners and flags; but they refused. The authorities therefore, approached the police. But the workers even told the police that they would not remove the flags and banners. The police, however, took no action against them. Later, leaders of both the parties were called by the police and a ban was imposed to put up any kind of banner or flags in the temple.
