Rasayani (Maharashtra) : At Mohopada, Rasayani, Malhar Pratishthan and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had jointly organized a procession to welcome New Year on the occasion of ‘Gudhi Padva’. The procession started by performing ‘puja’ of the ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ and breaking sreephal (coconut) by H.B.P. Labade Maharaj. This was the first year when New Year procession was organized on the day of Gudhi Padva at Rasayani; many citizens participated in the procession wearing traditional clothes. All men had saffron ‘phetas (turbans)’ and were holding saffron flags. The whole atmosphere had thus become charged with saffron colour. As the procession reached late Balasaheb Thackeray ‘Kreedanagari’ ground, it culminated in a meeting. Shri. Shrikrushna Upadhye of HJS explained the importance of hoisting ‘Gudhi’ and importance of establishment of Hindu Rashtra for hoisting a true ‘Gudhi’ symbolizing victory. He said that presently, people are just performing a ritual of hoisting ‘Gudhi’.

H.B.P. Anant Maharaj Karle, former Chairman; Shri. Ramesh Patil, Shri. Manohar Magar, Shri. Rajendra Pore, Kum. Bhagyashree Pawar, Mrs. Vasudha Sahastrabuddhe, Mrs. Beena Rege, Malhar Pratishthan’s S/ Shri. Sudhir Patil, Kiran Khane, Amit Yadav, Shri. Spiritual experience

As the picture of Srikrushna prepared by Sanatan, was kept in the welcome procession, saw that HJS mission started at Rasayani; saw that Srikrushna looked very happy. My spiritual emotion was invoked and gratitude was offered at the holy feet of Srikrushna. – Mrs. Jayashree Mhaiskar
