Thane : HJS remebers Veer Savarkar on his Death anniversary

Badlapur (Dist. Thane, Maharashtra) : Swatantryaveer Savarkar, the Crown of revolutionaries in pre-independence era, staunch pro-Hindu is known as first ‘Hindu-Hruday Samrat’ after independence. He was also patron of ‘Hindu Rashtra’. His death anniversary was observed by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Laksminarayan bungalow at Badlapur (East). The program received good response from ‘Jidnyasus’. Shri. Ameya Lotalikar of HJS expressed views on Veer Savarkar. Shri. Krushnaji Bhoir, a devout Hindu performed ‘puja’ of Savarakar’s picture. The program started with singing of ‘Kshatra-geet’. Shri. Lotalikar said, “The British Government was scared of Swa. Savarkar due to his intense idelologies. His leap in the ocean at Marseilles Port became famous all over the world. His qualities like foresight, fearlessness, intense patriotism and his thoughts will shake off lethargy of Hindus and will regain old glory of Hindu Rashtra and Hindu Dharma.” Shri. Vikrant Phanasekar of HJS compeered the program. A scene from the film ‘Veer Savarkar’ related to his leap at Marseilles was shown during the program.

1. Shri. Ratnakar, a devout Hindu was so impressed with the program that he also read a poem on Savarkar.
