When are Kashmiri Hindus going to be rehabilitated in their motherland ? – Mrs Rupa Mahadik, HJS

‘Hindu Rashtra-jagruti Sabha’ organized by HJS

Satara : On 19th January 1990, the religious fanatics from Kashmir drove away Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir. It has been 32 years now. Indian Constitution promises every citizen of security; still Kashmiri Hindus are leading the life of refugees. When are they going to be rehabilitated in their motherland? Asked Mrs Rupa Mahadik of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS)

‘Hindu Rashtra-jagruti Sabha’ was orhanized at Vekhandwadi in Patan taluka at Shri Kalbhairav Nath which was addressed by Mrs Rupa Mahadik. Vekhandwadi’s Sarpanch Hanamant Pawar, Gram Panchayat members Rajendra Kalkute, Mrs Swati Santosh Pawar, and Mr Manik Pawar, the Director of ‘Shivadaulat Sahakari Bank’, etc were some of the dignitaries who attended the ‘sabha’. More than 100 devout Hindus from Vekhandwadi and surrounding areas attended the ‘sabha’.

Mrs Rupa Mahadik said further that recently, a film named ‘The Kashmir Files’ has been released. The film was so much opposed that a Muslim has filed a petition against this film in the Court. A few Muslim theatre owners didn’t display the boards promoting the film or posters outside the theatres. In some places, the sound was completely lowered while at some theatres, ‘house-full’ boards were displayed even when the theatres were empty. It was an attempt to keep away people from this film. This is a kind of suppression of Hindus to see that their problems are not exposed to others. Only Hindu Nation can bring a change in this situation.
