Withdraw awards of Husain supporters-Sunil Devdhar

When speaking at Malvan yesterday at a lecture held to commemorate the death anniversary of Rajabhau Bhosle at the Shivaji libraray, Datta temple Mr.Sunil Devdhar founder of the Hindu Human Rights Forum and the Propagator of the R.S.S. said that all the awards given to Ashutosh Govarikar who is asking for the title of `Bharat Ratna' to be conferred upon M.F.Husain the artist who sketched Mother India in the nude, should be withdrawn.

On the third day of the three day lecture series, when presenting burning issues on Hinduism Mr. Devdhar said, 'Only 80 youths participated in the protest march organised by the Bajrang Dal to the residence of Husain. More and more people should come onto the streets. Whenever patriotic organisations organise rallies people should join them. They should protest against any kind of attack on the Hindu religion. If it is not possible to take to the streets then at atleast write a letter to the Chief Minister/ Deputy Chief Minister clearly indicating that just as the criminal Abu Salem was transferred from Portugal to India, M.F.Husain may be transferred to India from Dubai and without considering his age that he may be given the highest form of punishment that he deserves for his doings.'

'M.F.Husain paints Hindu deities in the nude and exhibits them and our conservatives and rationalists like Barkha Dutt, Medha Patkar, Aamir Khan and film director Ashutosh Govarikar tell us to view such paintings as art and to not let our emotions get provoked. Why should we view paintings denigrating our deities as art ? Along with Barkha Dutt and Ashutosh Govarikar 171 intellectuals have brought out a memorandum that all charges on Husain should be dropped and that he should be brought back to India and honoured with the `Bharat Ratna' award.This is the demand of these traitors of the country.

If you sincerely feel that Afzal has to be hanged to death then spend a few paise to write a letter to the President of India that Afzal has to be executed and that if he is granted clemency that you will presume that he is favouring him because he too is a Muslim. Only when the Hindus in India will stand up to protect Mother India in all spheres within 5 years will She become a superpower.�

(Mr Devdhar commented that the Sanatan Sanstha is revolting against Husain but how many Hindus are supporting them ? Their opposition in over hundred villages has compelled the police to register complaints against Husain. Sentiments of Hindus all over India are hurt, several suits are filed in court but to prevent getting trapped in court cases the coward Husain is hiding in Dubai.)
