‘Hindu woman abducted in daylight in Pakistan’s Sindh’, says BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa

Secularist and Liberals in Bharat voice out on the issues of Minorities of Bharat. But why  don’t they  utter a single word on the pathetic situation of the Minorities in Pakistan ? – Editor, HinduJagruti.org

New Delhi : Amid a series of attacks on Hindu temples and deities in Pakistan’s Karachi, a disturbing video has been shared by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa. The purported video shows a woman being dragged by a few men allegedly in Pakistan’s Sindh province. In his tweet, Sirsa said that the video is that of a ‘Hindu woman being abducted in Umarkot in Sindh-Pakistan’.

“Stunned to silence! Look how a Hindu woman is abducted in daylight, outside session courts Umarkot, Sindh-Pakistan. She is screaming for help but they aren’t afraid of any police or action and they dragged her from her hair & put her in the car (sic),” Sirsa said.

“Hindus of Pakistan shared about this 19yr Hindu Girl Hariyan Meghwar who was abducted, gang-raped, forcibly converted to Islam & married to her abductor, Bhai Khan who is 31 yrs old & already married… Shameful to see Pak Media reporting it as a consent marriage (sic),” he said, tagging External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar and Pakistan PM Imran Khan.

In another video shared on his Twitter timeline, Sirsa highlighted yet another case of atrocities against Hindus in Pakistan and said that a ’14-year-old Hindu boy Avinash Kolhi (was) abducted at gunpoint from his house for sexual exploitation and forced conversion’. Times Now could not independently verify the location or the authenticity of the visuals.

Atrocities against the Hindu community are not new in Pakistan, where they form the largest minority in that country. According to official records cited by agencies and media reports, there are over 75 lakh Hindus in Pakistan. The majority of Pakistan’s Hindu community resides in the Sindh province and atrocities against minorities have been on a rise in Pakistan in the recent past.
