The religion-based Halal certification system should be immediately stopped, demands HJS

HJS submits memorandum in Sangli and Kolhapur districts

Sangli : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted a memorandum to the district administrations of Sangli and Kolhapur on 1.11.2021 demanding an immediate ban on religion-based Halal certification in secular India. It has also been demanded that an inquiry should be conducted into the organisations which are issuing Halal certification.

District Sangli

1. A memorandum was submitted to the Naib Tehsildar Narayan More at Miraj regional office by devout Hindu activists viz. Mr Omkar Shukla, the regional Vice President of BJP-Cultural Front; Bajarang Dal’s Convener Akash Jadhav; Sagar Tamgave; Sanatan Prabhat’s readers Mr Vitthal Mugalkhod, Prakash Kulkarni; and HJS activists Milind Kulkarni and Girish Pujari.

2. Similar memorandum was submitted to acting Naib Tehsildar S. S. Gore at Kavathe- Mahankal.

District Kolhapur

1. The memorandum was submitted to Naib Tehsildar Rupali Suryavanshi-Barge at Kagal by devout Hindus viz. Mr Prabhakar Thorat, Dy. City-chief of Shiv Sena, Mhalu Karikatti, Mr Kiran Chavan and Dasharath Dongale of ‘Shri Shivapratishthan Hindustan’; Mr Kiran Kulkarni and Sudhakar Kulkarni and HJS activist Mr Santosh Sanagar.

2. Similar memorandum was submitted to the Chief Officer of Hupri Town Council by devout Hindus viz. Mr Nitin Kakade, Hupri City-President of ‘Lok-kalyan Grahak Sanrakshan Sanstha’, Yuva Sena’s Vikram Sawant, Ravindra Gaikwad, Pravin Ghorapade, and HJS activists viz. Babasaheb Bhopaley, Santosh Sanagar, and Mrs Vijaya Vesankar, etc.

Impose a ban on crackers causing pollution and denigrating Deities ! – HJS submits a memorandum to the Hupri police station

Kolhapur : On 1.11.2021, HJS also submitted a memorandum to Hupri (Dist Kolhapur)’s Police Inspector Pankaj Giri, demanding imposition of ban on crackers which cause pollution and denigration of Deities. A similar memorandum was submitted to Naib Tehsildar Yogesh Jamadade at Shirol and Constable D D Sanap at Shirol police station by HJS activists and devout Hindu activists.
