LK Advani assures HJS of action against denigration

Delhi: Shri. Purushottamdas, an active member of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) from Mathura, Vrundavan and a member of Vraj, Mathura Rakshak Dal, recently met Shri. Lalkrushna Advani, leader of BJP and former Deputy Prime Minister at his residence.

Shri. Purushottamdas made Shri. Advani aware about various incidents related to mockery made of Hindu Dharma and denigration of deities. He told Shri. Advani regarding the atrocities taking place on the holy land of Mathura as also against Hindu Dharma, incidents of Hindu deities being used for commercial purposes. He also told Shri Advani regarding the misuse of picture of Saint Tulsidas on the packet of ‘Tulsi Jarda’ tobacco. Shri. Advani assured him to extend cooperation in the matter. Shri. Advani took details like name and address of the owner of ‘Tulsi Jarda’ and promised Shri. Purushottamdas that he was committed to withdrawal of the picture of Saint Tulsidas from the tobacco packet.

Shri. Purushottamdas presented Shri. Advani with copies of periodicals, Monthly Sanatan Prabhat and a few books published by Sanatan Sanstha. Shri. Advani gave him a word that he would introduce Shri. Purushottamdas to Shri. Rajanath Singh, the President of BJP.
