‘Vishalgad Rakshan ani Atikraman-virodhi Kruti Samiti’ meets MP Dhairyasheel Mane

Kolhapur : Samiti can present a proposal for bringing forth the glorious history of Panhala to Vishalgad through displaying boards at various places on the route, giving direction to visitors, and other related matters. I will make funds available for the beautification of Narveer Bajiprabhu Deshpande’s ‘samadhi’ and restoration of the temple at Vishalgad. I will try to have a detailed meeting regarding Vishalgad with the Samiti and find a solution to these problems. I will also look into the matter of Vishalgad and organise a meeting with the Environment Minister, promised Shiv Sena MP Dhairyasheel Mane.

The delegation of the ‘Vishalgad Rakshan ani Atikraman-virodhi Kruti Samiti’ formed for the protection of Vishalgad and against the encroachments, called on MP Mr. Mane on 17th September 2021 to discuss the issues related to the removal of encroachments on the historical Vishalgad; displaying of boards on the route giving information about Vishalgad, and beautification of Vishalgad, etc. Mr. Sunil Ghanavat, the spokesperson of the Samiti explained to MP Mr. Mane the details about the activities carried out by this Samiti so far in connection with the removal of all encroachments on Vishalgad. Mr. Suresh Yadav, a member of this Samiti took initiative in organising the meeting with MP Mr. Mane. Mr. Suresh Yadav, a member of the Samiti and District Executive of ‘Shri Shivapratishthan Hindustan’, Sarpanch Shashikant (Bhau) Khavare, Mr. Babasaheb Bhopaley, a member of the action committee, and Mr. Manoj Khadye, the Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruiti Samiti (HJS) for Konkan, Goa and Gujarat State, besides Mr. Shivananda Swami, Shri. Vipul Bhopaley and Mrs. Rajashree Tiwari were present on the occasion.
