Proof of re-birth based on science!

Wardha: Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, the originator of supreme computer addressed a press conference wherein he said that since his school days, he used to think about the principle behind re-birth. While studying in college and later carrying out research work, he started to believe in the principle and after the computer revolution, his belief was strengthened. He said that in future, he would prove the concept of re-birth accepted in Hindu culture with the help of science.

Dr. Bhatkar had gone to Yeotmal in connection with all India Science Conference held at Vani. He said that he has firm belief in the old Indian culture. Therefore, along with science and technology even Yoga and Dhyan (meditation) is equally important and essential for development. He said that mankind will not progress only with worldly developments. In fact, only worldly progress will be detrimental to his overall development. Development of technology is futile if it is not based on spirituality. When he was asked about how he was going to prove re-birth, he said that as data is transferred from one computer to another through internet process, a soul also leaves one body and takes up another.

Science is based only on what you see with your eyes and hear with your ears. But it will be wrong to say that something does not exist if it is not seen or heard with your eyes and ears. It will be a limitation to our spiritual practice. Science has limitations. 95% of the world is still ignorant according to viewpoint of science. Therefore, to prove re-birth, science has to expand its limits. Dr. Bhatkar was asked whether as a scientist, he finds it difficult to accept re-birth, he replied that not only he believes in re-birth; but even great scientists like Einstein, Newton believed in re-birth although Western culture has no concept of re-birth. It will be superficial to oppose the concept re-birth just to prove ourselves as followers of science. Animate and inanimate, both have destiny. In our culture, inanimate things also have ‘Brahman’ principle. Dr. Bhatkar said that Indians are holding many prestigious posts on the strength of their intellect. In fact, with the help of Indian brains, persons like Bill Gates have become so rich. Now Indians can dictate terms. He said that on the strength of science and spirituality, India would be ‘World Guru’ in future.
