Online guidance by Shri. Sunil Ghanavat to devout Hindu activists in Chhattisgarh

Durga (Chhattisgarh) : Lakhs of Hindus adopt other religions every year due to lack of love and respect towards their own Dharma. Such conversions have become a big threat to the very existence of Hindus. The second biggest church in Asia has been built at Jashpur, Kunkuri in Chhattisgarh. In Sarguja region, legal and illegal prayer-meetings are held at more than 1000 places. Conversions took place on a large scale during the regime of the then Chief Minister Ajit Jogi in Chhattisgarh; but efforts to impart ‘Dharmashikshan’ to Hindus, teaching them to stop conversions by taking pride in their own Dharma fell short. Though our efforts fall short, let us become aware through such programs and prepare ourselves as ‘Hindu Dharmapracharak’. Let us also try for effective implementation of anti-conversion laws and for prevention of conversions. Conversions are taking place on a large scale in States like Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. Tribal Hindus are told that they are not Hindus and their religion is ‘adivasi’ which is different from Hindu Dharma. It is a big conspiracy to break them away from Hindu Dharma. Also, it is not just limited to ‘adivasis’ but it has been observed that it has percolated even in administrative services since many officers have converted and are converting their staff, working under them. All of us should therefore, try to stop the conspiracy of conversions, stated Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, the State-Coordinator of HJS for Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh while speaking on the topic of ‘Conspiracy of conversion’. ‘Dharmasena, Chhattisgarh’ has organized online lectures by Shri. Ghanavat every week and many devout Hindus from the villages where conversion is taking place, are joining the online lectures.

Highlights

1.Many devout Hindus have started lodging complaints and submitting memorandum with police on different issues after listening to a lecture on ‘Conspiracy of conversion’.

2.Every devout Hindu decided to pass a resolution in local ‘Gram-sabha’ that there should be registration of every new person visiting their village and if anyone is found trying to  convert local residents, a complaint should be lodged immediately.

3.They have started submitting memorandum demanding passing of law banning conversions all over the nation and effective implementation of this law in Chhattisgarh.

4. Shri. Naresh Rajput, a devout Hindu from Balco narrated his efforts to stop conversions.

5. After the program was over, clarification of doubts was done for more than half an hour. Considering the immense curiosity amongst devout Hindus on the topic of conversion, it was decided to take up this topic more elaborately.
