Online meeting of trustees, priests of Mutts-temples from North and North-East Bharat !

Temple-trustees should jointly make efforts for teaching sadhana to people ! – Pujya Nilesh Singbal, HJS’s Guide for East and North-East Bharat

Varanasi – Owing to natural calamities like cyclones faced during the Corona pandemic, all citizens are going through a period of crisis. One should increase devotion and faith in God to face the difficult times. Spiritual practice helps in increasing faith in God. As is His promise ‘Na Mei Bhaktah Pranashyati (i.e. my devotees are never destroyed)’, God always protects His devotees. It is therefore, necessary to spread the importance of chanting God’s name and undertaking sadhana, amongst a maximum number of people. Temple-trustees should unite and work towards this goal. The above guidance was given by Pujya Nilesh Singbal, the Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for East and North-East Bharat during an online meeting of trustees, priests of temples and Mutts. Swami Akhilananda from Odisha, Shri. Rajkumar Shukla of ‘Manas Mandir Parishad’, Odisha, Shri. Avadhesh Pandeya of ‘Kalbhairav’ temple, Varanasi, Mahant Vinay Pathak of ‘Garibnath’ Mandir of Bihar, Shri. Kavindra Prasad Sharma from Assam’s ‘Kamakhya’ temple and representatives, priests from various temples and Mutts from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, Jharkhand and Bengal participated in the online meeting.

1.Shri. Shambhu Gaware, HJS-Coordinator said, “People, who are doing the chant for protection against Corona as advised by Sanatan Sanstha, are getting its benefits for increasing their spiritual strength. This chant is played at many hospitals and medicine shops. It is also helping in increasing mental strength.”

2.Shri. Vishwanath Kulkarni, HJS- Coordinator said, “We can undertake various activities like playing chant in temples for increasing spiritual strength in this Corona period and for uniting temples; regularly perform ‘Agnihotra’, display information on ‘Dharmashikshan’ in temples, organize online lectures for increasing faith amongst people and for motivating them to abide by Dharma (Dharmacharan) etc.”

Highlights

The participating temple representatives gave information on the way temples helped people affected with Corona. It was also resolved to increase efforts towards effective unity amongst temples for preventing various attacks.
