Dhule(Maharashtra) : A protest campaign was recently organised at Dhule in opposition of the proposed Anti-Superstitions bill and a memorandum was later handed over to the District Commissioner.  On this occasion along with H.B.P. Vasudev Maharaj Arvikar, activists of Hindu Ekta Andolan namely Mr. Rajesh Shah and Mr. Chotu Marathe, Mr. Gulab Malo of Bajrang Dal, Mr. Aba Thorat of BJP, Mr. Dinesh Patil of Asaram Bapu Community, and a number of activists of HJS were present. A signature campaign was also conducted during the protest campaign.

Highlights :

1.Local cable operators interviewed Mrs. Prachi from HJS and broadcasted this interview on their networks.
2.At the location of the protest campaign representatives of various newspapers put their signatures on the memorandum after saying, ‘We are also Hindus. Take our signatures.’

Protest Campaign at Mangulnath, District Washim

Mangulnath : If the bill for anti-Superstition which the Congress government is proposing is made a law then it will be a big blow to religious rituals and practices of Hindus. To ensure that Hindus realise this, a protest campaign was held recently at Mangulnath. Signatures were taken on the memorandum against the bill government to be submitted to the government. Seventy activists were present on this occasion; Mr. Ganesh Dhage, Mr. Akash Kale, Mr. Gopal Agarwal, Mr. Bunty Chaudhary, Mr. Praful Tonge and Mr. Avinash More were amongst the activists.

Highlights :

1.Expenses of the protest campaign were borne from contributions made by righteous Hindus
2.To propagate the news students themselves asked for copies of the memorandum.
