Devout Hindus protests against Anti- superstitions Bill

Mumbai : Winter session of the State Legislative Assembly is starting from 12th December. The Government has decided to pass the anti-Hindu anti-superstitions Act during this session. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has undertaken State-wide agitation for cancellation of this Bill.

As a part of this agitation, HJS staged demonstrations near Jogeshwari and Chunabhatti railway stations. More than 70 activists took part in these demonstrations; besides many devotees, religious citizens, members of different Sects and oragnisations.

Demonstrations at Jogeshwari – Highlights

Everyone passing by was curious to know about the issue. Even school going children took part in the signature drive on their own accord. Expert and scholar of ‘Vaastu-shastra’ Acharya Pundit Ramnarayan Chaturvedi also made it a point to attend the agitation.

Highlights of demonstrations held at Chunabhatti

1. Five auto-rickshaw-drivers stopped and joined the demonstrations
2.Mr. Babasaheb Naik of Warakari Sampradaya guided the citizens on this issue.
