Mr. Mohan Gowda, talking on this occasion told that the Chairman of the National Advisory Commission Mrs. Sonia Gandhi is bringing this Bill after the Godhra incident to keep a Hawks eye on the Hindus and hit them where it will pain the most. The Bill has points where Hindus and Government servants would be made slaves of Minorities in due course. Through this bill the minorities can lodge false complaints against the Hindus claiming that they have insulted them through advertisements, communications, actions, etc. This has been done with to psychologically pull down the Hindus. Further wherever the opposition is ruling in the states, the Central Government has vested special powers unto itself to interfere in the affairs of the state during communal conflicts. The National Commission would come to the rescue of the minorities during communal riots. This will have 4 Muslim Judges. This will be another step to stamp away Hindus Mr. Gowda added. Mr. Amaresh Hosamane in his address told that the Central Government is resorting to this as part of its minority appeasement tactics. He condemned the Central Government attitude of shielding the corrupt. In his speech Mr. Matadappa demanded a ban on the Muslim organization Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD) and also protested against the temple takeover act by the State Government.

A memorandum against the Temple takeover act to be forwarded to the Governor was submitted on this occasion.
