#SaveTirupatiFromMissionaries trends on Twitter as Hindus demand to free TTD

From last few month, some incidents happened at Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam (TTD) raises a question that is their any large conspiracy to ‘Christianise’ TTD, highly revered for Hindus. Everyone knows that Shri Tirupati Balaji and other presiding deities at Tirupati Tirumala are highly revered by devout Hindus and millions of Hindus visit these temples every year. It is also one of the richest temples in our country and hence it was taken over the then YSR Govt in 1990s.

In this week, there were reports about Christian prayer on Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam website which was removed after protest by devout Hindus. Few months ago, TTD took down link of e-book with Christian content on it.

Due to all such incidents, devout Hindus felt offended and took their voice of protest on social media platform of Twitter, as most of the print and electronic media is not bothered about Hindu issues. As a result of this, today morning #SaveTirupatiFromMissionaries became one of the top national trends on Twitter. Here are some of the tweets :
