HJS extends greetings to Hindus gathered at Solapur for ‘Seemollanghan’

Devout Hindus visiting HJS stall

Solapur : Greetings were extended by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to Hindus gathered near ‘Shami’ tree at Park Chowk on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami for ‘seemollanghan’ even this year. HJS had put up a stall at ‘Char Hutatma Chowk’ where Hindus were given ‘Apta’ leaves after applying ‘Tilak’ on their forehead while offering good wishes. An appeal was also made to them to pray to Bhavanimata for establishing Hindu Rashtra and for devoting time for activities related to protection of nation and Dharma. Everyone raised slogans of ‘Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji’, ‘Har Har Mahadev’, ‘Aai Raja Ude Ude’ etc. Many Hindu men and women gathered here in large number, besides activists of Navaratrotsav festival committees for ‘seemollanghan’ coming here in processions. There were few palanquins and sticks carried by them. Many local dignitaries, devout Hindu activists, elected representatives and members of Navaratri festival committees visited the place. They commended the drive undertaken by HJS. Shri. Appa Shahapurkar, Shri. Pravin Naral, Shri. Akash Shriram, Shri. Ambadas Kadgulla and other activists of HJS were also present on the occasion.

Highlight : Many Hindus were spontaneously taking ‘selfie’ standing in front of HJS’ flex-boards.
