Jalgaon (Maharashtra) : Devout Hindus presented petitions regarding various national issues to the administration i Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Vani (Yavatmal). The petitions called to end the state sponsored religious attacks on Hindu temples in Andhra Pradesh; arrest of Akshay Lakada – who blackened Veer Savarkar’s bust in the Delhi University; stringent action against those who malign national leaders. the petitions also demanded that the Odisha government stop labelling ancient Hindu monasteries and temples near the Puri Jagannath temple as illegal structures and demolishing them; as well as asking for a Uniform Civil Code to be implemented across the nation.
