Wardha : Millions of Kashmiri Hindus had to leave Kashmir owing to fanatics and terrorism in the valley. Infiltrating Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar have been however, allowed to stay illegally in Kashmir.  Union Government should rehabilitate Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir with due honour so as to remove injustice done to them and immediately drive out Rohingya Muslims. The above demand was made by Shri. Hitesh Nikhar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Shri. Sanjiv Hardas, a member of Shriram Mandir Trust while addressing demonstrations staged under aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan (RHA)’ on 28th August.

Activists of HJS, seekers of Sanatan Sanstha and Shri. Vilas Daphale, a devout Hindu participated in demonstrations. Representation of demands in this context was later submitted to Dy. District Collector, Vijaya Banakar so also at Chandrapur, Rajura and Gadchiroli.

Other demands made during demonstrations

1. Government should reconstruct destroyed temples in Kashmir; anti-national laws passed by Jammu and Kashmir State Legislature should be quashed.

2. Idols made from paper pulp are harmful for environment; therefore, Government should issue strict orders and see to it that such idols would not be made or sold and encourage use of Ganesh-idols made of clay; coloured with natural colours.

Highlights: During demonstrations, 155 devout Hindus signed representation in support of demands.
