Hindu activists get positive response from Dhule Mayor for preventing Deities’ denigration

Dhule : Representation was submitted to city-Mayor Shri. Chandrakant bapu Sonar by Shriram Utsav  Samiti, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajarang Dal and other pro-Hindu organizations protesting against denigration of Hindus’ Deities at religious places. Mayor Shri. Sonar responded positively to the representation.

Some people keep idols of Deities, pictures, flowers etc offered to Deities at religious places in the area of Municipal Corporation which can create disharmony in society. The representation was submitted to prevent such things. Few Hindus had kept Deities’ idols and picture-frames behind ‘Panchmukhi Maruti Mandir’ leading to their denigration. It was therefore, decided to immerse all those idols and pictures as per the science.

Mayor Shri. Chandrakant bapu Sonar paid visit to such places and asked people to keep immersion of such things on hold for that day and promised to carry out immersion through Municipal Corporation. He gave instructions to keep a municipal van for this purpose throughout the year. He also promised to paint the vehicle with saffron colour and
offer it to people for service. (Congratulations to Mayor for showing promptness in preventing denigration of Deities ! – Editor)
